We can achieve the pillars of primary health care (PHC) if we do away with barriers faced by women in accessing SRHR services. One of the critical services in PHC where rural women often face barriers is timely access to cervical cancer screening and treatment. Early screening offers the best chance to have the condition diagnosed early when treatment can be most successful; before the abnormal cancerous cells can turn into cervical cancer.
